Early life[]

Amy Stanford was born to Lawrence and Linda Stanford on April 16, 1993 in Edmonton, Alberta. She has three older brothers, Scott (1984), Ralph (1987), and Stephen (1990). Stanford took an interest in professional wrestling at a young age and began training during her 12th grade year at Lillian Osborne High School, in addition to starring in several school productions throughout her life. She graduated and decided to try out wrestling while working towards an acting career.

Soul Wrestling Incorporated[]

Women's Champion (2011 - 2013)[]

Stanford signed a deal with SWI in mid-2011, using the character Psychophelia, a combination of the words "Psycho" and "Ophelia". Her character was that of an energetic basketcase who would speak in a Shakesperean manner. Psychophelia debuted on the October 15, 2011 episode of Apocalypse, defeating Kayla Stevens in an upset. The two would meet in another singles match the following week, which was won by Kayla, and a mixed tag team match the week after, with Psychophelia and fellow newcomer Alex Pollard defeating Kayla and Nicholai Ivanov to end their feud. Psychophelia made her PPV debut at Destiny Fulfilled as a part of a team put together by Samantha Nichols for an eight-woman elimination tag team match; Samantha's team won, with Samantha and Psychophelia being the last two wrestlers remaining. Psychophelia would mainly compete in tag matches, usually aligned with Samantha or Kelsey Ayami.

After pinning Kayla in a tag team match on August 4, Psychophelia defeated her on August 18 to win the SWI Women's Championship. She defended the title in a rematch at Unholy Confessions before losing the title to Kennedy at Betrayal. Psychophelia had a rematch for the title on the following Apocalypse, but once again came up short before spending the rest of 2012 and the beginning of 2013 in various singles and tag team matches. On May 11, Psychophelia defeated Violet Cyrilla to win her second SWI Women's Championship. She retained the title against Violet via DQ at Renewal, and again in a Shakespeare Street Fight. Psychophelia lost the title to Becky Cooper on August 17, following an assist from Kayla Stevens. She came up short in her rematch at Unholy Confessions, which turned out to be her last match before heading off to an acting academy. Psychophelia went to deliver a farewell speech, but was attacked by Becky, who continued her attack until Kayla turned on her and allowed Psychophelia to say goodbye to the fans.

Sporadic appearances (2013 - 2017)[]

Despite leaving for school, Psychophelia remained on great terms with SWI and promised to make one-off appearances whenever she was needed. She then made an appearance on the December 21 Old School Apocalypse, teaming with Gina Scott to defeat Becky Cooper and Lavanya. Psychophelia then appeared at Independence 10 on the winning side of a tag team match. She then took part in the Femme Fatale Battle Royal for the SWI Women's Championship at Questions Unanswered in 2017, scoring three eliminations before being eliminated by Tonya Montana. Psychophelia made one final appearance at RewindMania, competing in a six-pack challenge in a losing effort.

Personal life[]

Stanford currently resides in Toronto, Ontario with her boyfriend, whom she met while taking acting classes at Alza Acting Studio. In 2015, she signed on with Premiere Talent Management and began receiving roles for television.
